University of Kansas Conference Center

The upper level of the University of Kansas Conference Center features windows flanking conference center signage and a large metal Jayhawk on the side of one of the limestone walls. The upper level extends over the lower level, creating a covered overhang. Behind the conference center, blue stadium seats are visible.

The University of Kansas Conference Center, located at the north end zone of the David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium in the KU Gateway District, provides 55,000 square feet of event space for meetings, athletic recruitment events, alumni celebrations, business conferences, trade shows, receptions, and other gatherings. During football game days, the space functions as a fan hospitality area. The local limestone facade ties the facility to the university’s historic campus.

Spaces within the conference center accommodate groups of 25 to 2,000 and include the 15,000-square-foot Main Hall, 12 meeting rooms, and the 1921 Field Club (an event space with access to a private patio overlooking the stadium). The facility offers audiovisual capabilities, on-site catering services, event coordination support, field access, and use of the stadium video board.

The University of Kansas Conference Center opened in October 2025 and is part of Phase 1 of the KU Gateway District. Multistudio led the design.
